Focus solely on how they feel in this moment and avoid comparing their situation to anything else.
Encourage Them to Join a Support Group
While you can provide all the support and love you have, you cannot completely understand what your loved one is going through unless you have experienced hair loss yourself. Encourage them to join a local support group, maybe even research a nice place, so they don’t have to. Meeting others going through a similar experience will help them feel seen and understood. It will provide a different type of support, which will prove invaluable when combined with yours as a loved one.
